LinkedIn Profiles

When was the last time you looked at your LinkedIn profile?  Company recruiters are looking at it every day.   Does it represent you the way to want to be viewed professionally?

Key words, transferable skills and successes (all the elements of a great resume) need to appear on your LinkedIn profile.  They are incorporated by utilizing LinkedIn’s components to your best advantage.  Your

headline (the brief description under your name) is the first place recruiters scan when doing a search.  The summary (or about) section is the second most searched area.  Knowing that, it is important to embed the key words and phrases common to the industry and position you are looking for.   Your job history is also important.  Do the names of your employers and employment dates match what’s on your resume?  Have you taken the time to describe what you have accomplished at each position or just listed it?  Don’t forget that skills and successes are important to your next employer.  I don’t!

These are just some of the critical areas that we address when updating your profile.
